Caught The Matinee Yesterday For 1917

Where do I begin? Okay, be prepared to be somewhat bored for the first hour. In fact I was saying to myself “Please, it’s got to get better.”🥱 Got through that first hour and from then on I was wide awake! If I hadn’t been sitting in a recliner chair I would have been on the edge of my seat!

Two negs though, the camera work was too jumpy. Plus, I’m hard of hearing so I missed half the dialogue due to the British accent.

To sum it up, this movie portrays sheer determination and true grit! When it was over I continued to sit, collect my thoughts, and breathe a sigh of relief. Whew! Yes, sheer determination and true grit...
