Time period inaccuracies

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the fourth episode, the one about the skin cream, Keith and Stacey's TV is too thin to have been available in the 80s. Especially in a low/average income household like theirs.
After Stacey's transformation and her return to work we can see her blonde colleague talking in a rather small, red cell phone. Something that I don't think was available when this was set, even though her husband was loaded.
