Not completely trash but disappointing

I actually liked everyone in this film, but it was sad to see Robert De Niro reduced to a kind of caricature of an Italian immigrant dad. You can tell he did this for the paycheck, which is totally his right. This is how he earns money. But when you are a master of your craft, lukewarm half-assed work disappoints your loving fans.

That said, it was an okay comedy with some heart.
