This is in reference from Moff Gideon to Dr. Pershing about Grogu.
They are going to extract his midichlorians.
Yeah, that's the impression I got. They want to find a way to transfer his Force abilities to their own troops. Even if they weren't the equal of fully trained Jedi an army of them would be almost unstoppable.
Grogu will be their "guest" - and pincushion - until they no longer need him. After which I assume Gideon will have him terminated.
Not their troops but those clones they seem to be spawning in the laboratories. They think with his blood transfusions somehow "force" cells come along with them. But it doesn't work that way. The force does its own thinking.
shareThe original stormtroopers were clones too. Since they can't recruit new people very easily now I think maybe they're going back to that idea for a while. And yeah, from that message the scientist guy sent Moff Gideon it sounded like their first trials went badly.
