Too many huge huge huge unforgiveable plot holes

This really got me bonkers over

1. Tony had 2 older sisters yet in this one, only Janice is there
2. In the beginning, Christopher is doing the narration, yet he is dead and openly admits to Tony murdering him among other things. How can a dead person be alive and or aware of all this?
3. Dickie kills his father in the car during the struggle and then burns his body in his business, yet a few scenes later, he is alive again. Talk about bad editing
4. Christopher's dad was killed by a cop, confirmed in the Sopranos series, yet in this one, he is killed by one of Juniors men

1. Nope. Janice was older than Tony but Barbara was younger. They are both in the scene when Johnny comes home from prison. Barbara was a little girl in that scene.

2. Christopher is doing the narration (from the grave) and setting the film up as a flashback.

3. The guy in prison is Dickie’s uncle Sally. Twin brother of Dickie’s father.

4. Yes, in the Sopranos, Tony told Christopher that his father was killed by the retiring cop. Based on the film, Tony lied to Christopher. Why? That is left open to interpretation. Tony was prone to lying. He may have wanted Christopher to kill the cop for another reason and convinced him to do it by making up the story that he had killed Dickie.

Regarding #4. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen the show. But wasn’t Tony kind of trying to buy Chris’ loyalty to keep him around so he could continue to groom him to take over as his number 2 man? Chris was pulling away, maybe to take up his writing, can’t remember, but then Tony gave him the name of the guy who supposedly killed his dad and Chris was so grateful to Tony. And when Chris confronted him the guy denied it in what I thought was a very convincing fashion so I thought something stank about that whole interchange. And now that’s been confirmed by the movie. Anyway right or wrong that was my impression of the storyline that has stuck with me all these years!

Yes, good analysis. I had the same impressions as you.

I thought the movie was very mediocre but all of the things you listed were not plot holes at all.
