Pilot episode

Just watched this, and can't say I'm impressed. I'm a very big Eva Green fan, and also would say I'm a fan of Eve Hewson who I really liked on "The Knick". So I was looking forward to this, but for a first episode that should rope you in and make you want to watch more, this was very dull. The split timeline doesn't seem to add anything but confusion. If it heightened the drama, then it might be justified. I don't think it does.

I know not to judge by just one episode and so I'll watch a few more. But I'm more patient than most and I imagine many didn't watch beyond episode 1. Hope this improves drastically.
