Was there an agenda?

While the were differing opinions on the both the ethics and function of the medication, they seemed to gloss over the side effects aspect. As someone who's been on and off them for the last 20 years, I can tell you side effects are the main reason I go for long periods without.

Sure, they did add sleeplessness, and related heart issues. But seems that section of the film was really brief, when it should have been at least 20 minutes.

On top of that, they didn't really differentiate between the hyperactive and inattentive aspects of ADHD, and how the medication has different long term effects. Assuming many kids with the hyperactive aspect are able to go off the medication as they mature, where as those who are inattentive may always require help in focusing, much less fully functioning.

Makes me wonder if the director had an agenda, or the film wasn't edited well. Either way, kinda kills my opinion on the film overall. Was nice to hear all the personal experiences, and professional history. But it's half a story.
