Question

So does the district line rule where the team you play for is dictated by where you live, is that still a rule?

The reason I ask is because if they were allowed to form their own team then it doesn’t really make sense that that rule would still be around because going by that rule they would have to play for the Ducks assuming they could make the team (which they couldn’t).

So anyways if that rule is not still around why didn’t they just go join a different team? Forming their own team where they had no coach, a crappy ice rink and players who didn’t know what they were doing seemed like the worst idea they could have come up with.
