So she gets catfished by a guy who likes her but pretends to be someone else. fine.
its creepy but he wants to get to know her etc

what I dont get is why did he make up lies to get her to send money to him? that would have made sense more if he was trying to trick her but the plot thread was he fancied her.

Also why did he ( as fish and chips) log in to that video sharing site when the dad was on it?

surely he remembered pushing her down the ravine, why would he be expecting a new video from her?

I thought it was explained that he wasn’t expecting that money? That’s why he went to give it her back but ended up freaking her out and pushing her down the ravine.

I’m guessing he logged in because it freaked him out when her name pop up as online and he wanted to see if maybe she’d survived and got out of the ravine somehow.

The kid obviously wasn't the most rational and intelligent tool in the shed. IMO it's easy to buy that he'd freak out upon seeing her stream account suddenly go live and check to see what it was. He might have done so thinking, "omg did she survive after all?"
