Only a few episodes in, but why does she hold such contempt for the judge when she knew exactly what he was going through? She seems to now have deep seeded hatred for him. Can she not see that he manipulated the trial to try and save his son's life? And she would most likely do the same if in the current situation?

I understand he used her to obtain some addresses and lied to her, but then she tracks him down, threatens him, and tells him he is responsible for killing a family that a mobster blew up. He didn't pull the trigger nor really hurt anyone. The only thing he did was be corrupt by not turning his son in and thwarting justice for Kofi. I get that she wants to put him back in jail, but the vendetta attitude seems far fetched imo. If only she showed the same passion towards her fellow, obviously, corrupt fellow police officers.
