Better action scenes than The Tomorrow War but still as nonsensical

I liked Warriors of the Future more than The Tomorrow War, but these films about these massive catastrophic events only being handled by handfuls of people always bother me.

They sent an entire squad to retrieve Private Ryan in Saving Private Ryan, yet they sent just few aerial vehicles and ONE transport vessel into a hostile region to deal with a cataclysmic alien parasite that could kill millions of people?!?!

And then the movie has these ridiculous scenes where the leaders are arguing about sending in reinforcements and executing a "Plan B" that would kill countless thousands of people. It's like... why not just send in entire troop transports!?!?!

I know why they didn't, because the budget didn't allow, but it really just takes away from the plot. The Tomorrow War at least had more troops battling in their sequences, even if it was still too few for what they were dealing with.

Starship Troopers is still the only sci-fi movie that depicted engagement to scale as it should have been.

All that being said, I did enjoy the action scenes in Warriors of the Future. They put to shame anything from the Tomorrow War. I just wish we had more aliens vs robots. It was kind of annoying how we had those really cool borgs that only fought the humans. Would have been neat seeing them face off against the alien creatures instead.
