like an average netflix film

Decent sfx, good actors (who act like shit in this film - lol), and a really shitty script.
The action sequences, and there are a lot of these, are seemingly designed for the ADHD crowd - the smartphone generation.
The dramatic music comes off as laughable, considering how poorly the script and characters are developed.

All in all, it would appear that Hong Kong film industry was infected by the same virus as the Hollywood - lots of money to burn and no decent script writers left.
In other words, this film is a turd.
