The horror seems more subtle this time around


Based on the trailer at least, I hope that's a proper assessment. I fell in love with Chapter One, but I will admit it wasn't very scary being that most of the scares were jump scares. What makes me uncomfortable are things just subtly being out of place.

There's a scene in Chapter One where Ben is at the library looking at a book and it cuts to a wide shot, and the librarian is standing there in the background seeming staring straight at the camera. A couple more cuts and she's back to putting away books. The trailer for Chapter Two demonstrates a handful of moments like this. Can't wait to see it!
