Is it good? To me it sounds off. But maybe since he has his own way of speaking (like Christopher Walken) this is the way a British accent would sound on him. I wish they would've just left him American. Conversely, Jude's American accent is stunningly good.
shareHe has a distinct speech pattern anyway, and his attempts at a British accent are hit and miss. So it ends up being an odd mixture of American and Malkovichian with a little British thrown in. He has said that he hates his voice.
shareAgreed, he does have a distinct speech pattern. He enunciates his words or something, more so than usual. I like his way of speaking in general, it sets him a bit apart, whether Brit accent or not. I think his way of speaking carries over in his Brit accent.
