A much better version of this movie is Mother's Day

It's also on Netflix, and the similarities are there.

-Both women are military trained.
-Both women had to give up their kid because of their past.
-Both kids are kidnapped because of their mother's past.
-Both women decide to go after the kidnappers.
-Both women have a "guy" on their side.

Mother's Day (a Polish movie) is much grittier. It had some of that single-shot fight scene stuff. The mom (Nina) is a beast. Jennifer Lopez is cheesy and needs to stick to Rom-Coms. I don't watch those, so I have every opportunity to miss her.
