Enjoyed it. Spoilers

Invincible is a pretty decent comic adaptation. I don't read these comics but watched the show and I liked it.

The voice acting is just terrific from Steven Yeun, JK Simmons and the rest. Everyone was perfectly paired with the char and it felt very believable.

The whole transformation of Omni-man was pretty intense near the end but I was kinda interested to know the why actually. In a lot of ways it parallels the Marvel Universe.

He lives for tens of thousands of years to possible even hundreds of thousands like Odin. He's done horrible things in the name of conquest and like Odin seemed to have wisened but apparently not yet. I feel his char arc perfectly mirrors that of video game players of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series. You start the game, go berserk and get tired of it and then start following the traffic rules and do things lawfully for a small bit and then you lose patience and go berserk again. The GTA sandbox is a playground. That is precisely why Omni-man acted this way. He was berserk, then for a very small bit he was following rules and then went crazy at the end again. The level of violence unleashed at the end was pretty intense with people - men, women, children, babies all massacred with nary a thought or reaction. He was pretty far gone.

The whole stubbornness and resolve of Mark building further and further with each hit and innocent life taken was pretty engrossing. It really hits you and numbs you to the level of depravity unleashed in a very short time.
The acting, directing, voice acting, lines of dialogs were all top notch.

I did read here on the forum that some char races were changed but tbh it doesn't bother me because it is irrelevant to the story as such so it can be changed.

The parallels to Justice League were done well. Omni-man (Superman), Dark Wing (Batman), Red flash (The Flash), Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg etc. were all represented. Not sure who Immortal was but he was interesting as well.

Overall, this was a great Season 1.

My rating: 8.5/10

agreed the voice acting was amazing

its not about "wisening". he basically comes from a society of Spartans mixed with nazis. you dont just shake off that propaganda and entire life instantly.

hes likely dont this before. many times. to the point of desensitization. and maybe him talking to himself "ill make another kid" was to make it easier. but what changed is he actually did love Mark, and marks love back. even after being beat. its something that finally broke through
