So my two cents? *spoliers*

Well after reviewing "Escape from tomorrow", i needed to take a break from reviewing. (yes that movie was that bad.) After seeing this movie, i decided to review once more. This is my review of "A Quiet Place".

Wow... that was something. For a thriller/horror film, it was pretty well done. The screenplay itself is a very strong screenplay, and the plot is just a survival story of a family trying to keep their children safe in a world that is out to get them. John Kraninski's largest directing project is definitely strong, and has some great acting, from his wife, to the children. I'm guessing some people want me to throw in what i thought of the monsters. To me, they're the briefcase from "Pulp Fiction", they're McGuffins. That being said, the creatures have adapted to Earth, and its sounds so I imagine they listen for much louder sounds other than small footsteps in the forest. Okay now that's out of the way. The film as thriller is fun for those of the thriller genre, especially the opening scene has gotten every audience I've met hooked after the death of the first character. The audience i saw it with was highly into it, and it was a pretty packed audience. At first their were a few fidgets here and there, but after the opening scene, it seemed like everyone was scared to even move. When a movie is able to do that, it has to be doing something right. The two complaints i have with this movie are the girl running off, since i felt we could've had one scene where she maybe has an argument with her mother, then she runs off, but nope, after her dad leaves, she just runs off because she's angry. Also, i felt the movie didn't need a score, and their were points the score was spoon-feeding what should be coming naturally to the audience. Overall, it's a nice film, very well executed, and I'd recommend it. (Until Infinity War)

These are just my opinions so take this with a pinch of salt. What do you think? Let me know down below! Have a wonderful day, and don't stop being a movie buff.
