About the ending (SPOILERS)....

So, from what I gathered, the high-frequency sound waves generated from the daughter's hearing aid....greatly disturbed the creature. So then, at the end of the movie, the daughter holds her hearing aid to the microphone, essentially broadcasting that high-frequency noise across the farm. Now, knowing what we know (the creatures don't LIKE that high-frequency noise), why did the remaining creatures come running TOWARD that (supposedly awful) sound? If memory serves, it showed 2-3 creatures running through the fields toward the farmhouse. And, why did the daughter do that? Was the strategy....to draw them to the house, and down to the basement...where the mother would be waiting with a shotgun? Seems like quite a risky plan, seeing as multiple creatures would be coming, all at once, and they can pounce extremely quickly. How is she going to cap off a death shot for each creature, in extremely quick succession?

They weren't running towards the the high-frequency sound. They responded to the sound of the shotgun going off. They were baiting them to the basement so the daughter could "paralyze" them with the amplified high-frequency and then mom would kill them.

Ahhh yes, that makes more sense. Thanks.
