Is the Protagonist supposed to be a Reliable Narrator?

I cannot tell, their are some things in the story that really strike me as off.

First off, he does a lot of complaining about his masters, but when it comes to showing the audience it is the grandmother who seems to be his actually arch nemesis here. India handed him opportunities, jobs, and money, and the only thing that ever held him back was his Grandmother and family in a more general sense.

Then we see him start to have hallucinations before telling the audience that he totally saw his boss say that he was going to be replaced.

I interpreted those “hallucinations” as you call them, either a quick flashback or just his thoughts running through his head. I couldn’t actually get it whether it’s the event already happened or will happen until later. Kinda a take away. But, yeah, this movie is interesting. I liked it for what it was, having a twist at the end made it special for me 😄
