Not bad, not excellent.

Movie snobs beware, you won't like it at all. The movie was alright overall. It was a nice continuation of films using the younger x-men group. I definitely didn't waste my time or money. Apocalypse was a good movie too.

I remember from the x-men cartoon that Jean couldn't control herself, eventually diving into a star as the phoenix, and disappeared for a while. That is pretty much what this movie covered, like a part 1 of 2 films. These memories are a bit fuzzy, that was like 20+ years ago.
