it's wonderful

a whole range of wonderful stories.

the wingless thrush story v/ liam neeson was a bit hard to watch, but powerful.

first-rate stuff.

Yeah, I had no idea what to expect going in but I ended up really enjoying it. It's been a few days since I watched it and I'm still thinking about the Liam Neeson story... It wasn't even my favourite of the bunch but for some reason I can't get it out of my head.

probably because its the most horrible :)

i loved the wrinkle of the awful plodding pitiful 'handler' being gulled into buying a worthless chicken, which is immediately viewed with great apprehension by the poor utterly disempowered thrush (also a bird, btw). he was even made up to look like a puppet, or a toy.

in music there is bob dylan
in film there are the coens
i keep waiting for a non-jew to step up.
