Boring, not a patch on Remains of the Day

I finally had to see this as my girlfriend wanted to, she is a fan of the TV series and even she said this film was boring.

The 'storyline' was dull and trivial, the characters were like wallpaper. The acting and storylines of Remains taught them a masterclass.

And, for Americans, this film's ethereal class co-existence has NOTHING to do with most British people in reality, then or since.
