Breaking Bad supporting cast

Ok I guess there was no room for Krazy8 and Tuco being minorities (kinda impossible to fit them in 1970 white collar america), but I was just waiting for uncle Jack and Badger to show up.
Other than them, Spielberg had every supporting cast member covered.
We get it Stevie, you're a fan!

When Todd (Jesse Plemons) popped up, there was a momentary gasp of recognition in the audience I saw it with. And what is David Cross doing up there for his two lines of dialogue? I kinda think what happened was Bob Odenkirk got this juicy supporting part in "The Post" and started telling his friends who began to beg "oh man--you're making a Spielberg? You gotta get me on the crew and I don't care how small the part is!"

Yeah your reconstruction makes sense, Odenkirk must have vouced for a bunch of ex cast members, his partner Cross with the toupee was so superfluous, it could have been just anybody playing that role.
BTW, why get Odenkirk to play an old man, I have no idea, he was totally wasted playing such a low key character.
