what if this show had been first?

If this show had been made before/instead of Big Bang Theory, I wonder how it might've developed differently.

Would it still have ended here? Or would it have continued on? If so, would Sheldon have been written out? Or would we have gotten a storyline that was split by locations even further than his college in Texas? Would that have resulted in essentially getting to Big Bang earlier on, but as sort of a hybrid? Or would they have still ended it and then developed BBT as the spin-off, a la Grown Sheldon? Would we still be getting the Georgie and Mandy show? Would George maybe have survived?
