Finally watched it on Hulu

I finally saw it on Hulu. My god, how long it took to be finally released! Years!!!!
Well, finally it’s here....

I liked it. I know it’s not gonna win any awards, but if you come in with the right attitude to watch then you’ll enjoy it too. It’s a kid’s tall tale movie. A fantasy adventure. I know it cannot hold up to any major Hollywood release kid fantasy movies of the last ten years, but maybe it doesn’t need to. It’s sort of a send-off to some 80s-90s goofball fantasy/adventure flicks movies like Big Trouble In Little China for example. This one tries to be a little more earnest though where I think it makes a mistake. It lacked a bit of more comedy. But the main reason to watch it is because of Arnold and Jackie in it. Yeah, they are in it alright, only briefly. I wouldn’t say they had cameos since they are in it for a good 15-20 min together, but it certainly is not enough! This is where the movie just got momentum going and then suddenly makes a big absence of them notably throughout the rest of the movie. But it is what it is. Production vice it looks crispy and bright with nice color and unfortunately some poor cgi effects, but not Asylum-poor mind you.
I think this movie works best for the kids. Age range 8-18. If they won’t know who Arnold and Jackie are then they won’t miss them and will look past all the scruples.
