well...

When I saw the advertisement and Master Ken in it, I was ecstatic.
I like Master Ken (Matthew Page), but he wasn't as over the top as would have been appropriate for a comedy. The comedy in this was pretty mild - the action.... I thought the first few minutes of the film, where they show them as teenagers were actually pretty awesome - the action sequences were legit. During the rest of the film.... not so much. Add in a lot of melodrama and the film becomes tedious.

All in all.... it's on par with many hollywood studio comedies these days. The problem is, most hollywood comedies are crap - and so is this. Mild comedy, no slap stick (which, I think, should be used in action comedies), weak-ish action sequences, plenty of melodrama. As such, I can't recommend it. If Matthew Page played one of the 3 dragons and did his over the top Master Ken persona, this film could have been not just salvageable, but actually decent - unfortunately that's no the case, and his in-film persona is not that funny, and not particularly lengthy.
