So yeh Tim Heidecker is a lying pos.. hell even there comedy is bleh in comparison to WorldPeace 6 episodes which as a show did incredibly well in ratings for a first season.
WP 6episodes have more replay and comedic value than most the crap that goes for comedy that I've seen in the last decade. I could compare it on the level with Chris Moris.... unfortunately the mainstream media has become infested with SJW posturing losers who want to keep out any dangerous competition that wipes floor out of them, both in what they do for show skits but also their failing SJW narrative of posturing *beep* they keep pushing out to their clearly mentally deranged audience that they want to keep that way, who are being taken for fools by these people.
Advertisers that aren't already fully converged failing SJW entities(and they will be shortly) are complete idiots for not making sure a show like World Peace is kept on air when it shows ratings like that.
Adult Swim execs made one hell of a stupid choice this time, they played it safe, but they stand to lose long term in a very big way.
And when I look at the total garbage that goes on TV for comedy, it truly is dire.. absolute drivel.. If those advertisers weren't so fking clueless they'd realize they just got shafted, now they are funding subpar *beep* with an audience of total SJW freaks.. these maybe the very kind of idiots advertisers on Adult Swim want buying into their products now, but pendulum swings man.. and its going to swing back hard over the next few years.
It was cancelled because Adult Swim doesn't want to be associated with the kinds of moron fans this show attracts (and panders to). AS employees were being regularly harassed, too. One look at the Hyde's twitter and reddit posts and you'd see how the execs came to the conclusion that decent ratings aren't worth the hassle this audience brings. Heidecker is just an easy scapegoat.

Ok I think its time we acted like grown ups and did some basic fact checking. Tim stood by a friend. It is supremely naive to think that he secretely runs the network or has some hand in decisions like that. Judd Apatow didn't cancel it either.The heat the network was getting definitely influenced their decision but there is also the fact the humor is a real acquired taste and Adult Swim have cancelled shows like Moral Orrel before because people just didn't get it.
At the same time I also acknowledge the BS about hidden swatzikas is just that. There is no evidence to suggest anything of the sort actually existed.
I enjoyed the show and I'm totally on the opposite political spectrum to alt-right. I don't think it should have been cancelled because A. I was curious to see the 2nd season and B. Its just made a certain contingent of the fanbase insufferable.
