First time Babs has allowed one of her songs to be used in a made for tv movie. I think I also heard James Brolin say that Barbra gave them 2 songs for the movie, the other being her uptempo version of Jingle Bells. I guess we'll find out soon if it made it into the movie.
shareIt did. He was on Live with Kelly. He said the production company asked him and he wasn't going to ask her because he stays out of her singing business. They were having dinner and he broached it laughing. She kind of scoffed at him. A week later she handed him a USB with the songs. She said It was his Christmas present. He said it was really nice for a Jewish girl! He specifically had his little costar from LIP in it as well.
