I'm on S2Ep6 at the moment, and I haven't read the book.

Why oh why does she continually misbehave and agitate those in authority with her contempt, Serena and Aunt Lydia even more so! She's already had a noose around her neck, and she's seen people being executed for the slightest of misdemeanours, so surely she has the brains (or maybe not from what I've seen) to realise that she could be putting her own life and the life of her daughter Hannah in jeopardy, especially when the pregnancy runs it's course. There are plenty more Handmaid's to take her place, and the Waterford's blow hot and cold and could/would send her to the colonies or have her executed in a second after the pregnancy.

Yes I know, blah blah script, blah blah, it's only a TV show. ;-)
