I still don't get where Bull gets the ghost jurors

If they just needed anyone to act as a juror it would be easy to find unemployed people or college students to make extra money being fake jurors; but Bull wants people who are exactly like the real jurors. How does that work? When a person is called for jury duty the employer has no choice. The law says they must be allowed to serve. But can you imagine someone approaching his boss saying, "I've got to take the next few weeks off so I can be a fake juror for a jury consultant." I can't see that happening. So how does it work? I must be missing something.

I suspect there is a questionnaire given by his Co. But we never see that part. He must have one heck of a payroll.

Jury selection and trials are a joke. Whenever you get one of those jury summons in the mail, toss it in the garbage.

That's a good way to get warrants issued for your arrest

You can expect to spend at least a few days in jail for contempt of court if you make this a habit, along with various fines

It's not like Jury Duty is hard to do, just get it over with; I've done it twice and enjoyed the process both times

40+ years says your wrong. 99.999% of the time, nothing happens. They can't force you to do it. There's also a trick to get off the hook, just tell them you're racist ha ha ha. More often than not, if you have any head on your shoulder, they will disqualify you for being over qualified. They want dummys on the jury. I don't do jury duty because I don't believe in it. It's a joke and goes against my beliefs, religion, etc It's easy to get out of, ignoring it is only one of many legit ways. Besides, there's more than enough dummys who will want to do it so I don't have to.

I also enjoyed the experience. I was on a murder trial and then was the last juror excused off another murder trial like 2 years later. I think the lawyer didn't want me because I was already on a murder trial. I don't see why that would have mattered though. I was only in my 20's, I couldn't believe I was summoned twice so close together. My dad was 70, my mom 60, and neither had ever been summoned for jury duty.

Then I never got summoned again until a few years ago when I was in my early 50's. Then got another summons about a year ago when I was 55. I got out of both because of my handicap ( chronic back pain from a work injury and multiple back surgeries). I can't sit for very long. I thought I wouldn't get another summons since they knew I was already excused by a Dr. with a handicap. You will need to send them a Dr. note, they won't just take your word that your handicapped.

Getting picked is so random. Some might get 10 summons and others might never get one. You can get summoned every year. If you sit on a jury your good for 2-3 years depending on your state. Again I enjoyed it and thought it was an experience everyone should have living in the States.

I just saw a posting on craigslist looking for jurors for a "private" trial. I'm sure they advertise that way and get people who fit their criteria. This one was actually busing them about 100 miles away and paying expenses and lunch, etc. during the trial.
