Enjoyable summer movie

It's not Oscar material, but I'm old enough to remember the days of Earthquake, Towering Inferno, and Poseidon Adventure, when movies were made just to be mindless fun. Something to watch in a cool theater on a hot afternoon, enjoying some popcorn and soda.
The movie is filled with great stunts, amazing visuals, and characters I felt enough empathy for to care if they lived or died. Johnson is at least as good of an actor as Schwarzenegger is, and Arnold made some top-notch action films.
This summer is fairly lean movie-wise, but I thought this was one of the most enjoyable so far.
