A film that tried too hard.

This wouldve been a great film had it had some sort of cohesiveness. They tried too hard to be edgy and artful but ya know what? Having to guess for 2 hours what the hell is going on is a bit too much. Being vague and leaving everything to the viewers making assumptions is fine for a part of a film but not the whole thing. It seemed like a lazy way out.
By the way the actor Barry was also in Saltburn, a 2023 film. He was also playing a role that was just as demented as this one. Hes a great actor but too young to be typecast.
