This is just so good

I rarely watch tv. In fact we don't even have Freeview, all we have is iplayer & amazon instant. And come Sept, we won't even have iplayer. I've never been much of a tv fan, I usually hear about shows after they air.

In pain and needing a distraction, I put this on 2 weeks ago. I saw "pervy" in the description, which almost put me off it. I'm in my 30's, never dated, never had casual sex, so all that is alien to me, and I just don't like watching sex scenes.

But I took a chance, and I loved it. So much that I watched the next episode the day it was available. I've watched ep. 3 tonight. This show is witty, awkward, kinda bleak but in a laugh-it-off-even-though-it's-still-sad way, and just hilarious. I am very tired and in pain so please pardon by lack of grammar.

I know this started as a play, and that may be why I love it so much, I'm all about theatre. Not Shakespeare and West End/Broadway musicals, but avant-garde and independent, small, intimate, alternative theatre. There's a lot of it in the States, haven't found it here yet. I guess it's all at the Fringe (I've so much to learn!)? What I meant to say, was that this still has that play 'feel', as a former stage actor I see so much in this. And it's working so well as a television series. It's just brilliant.

And again, this is coming from someone who hasn't had the experiences that are themes of this show. There's so many other things I can relate to though. I think everyone from their 20's through 40s should give this a chance.

I'll try and update this and be a bit more eloquent another day. I just want you to watch this. All of you. I've even re-watched the first 2 episodes which is something I've never done. It's that good. It just ends too soon! It feels like it's less than 10 minutes. And I just want more, more, more!

Once I swallowed a golf ball, and that must have altered my mind because...
