...make this program almost unwatchable.
Seriously they have Eureka moments after every test - like "Wow we're so clever"! Such cheesy actors (or maybe they're not actors) it puts you off viewing it.
Just have Stephen and some nice CGI!
First episode was the worst, second not quite so bad but still...
They makes the show more accessible and easy to understand to the average folk. Although, I can see why very intelligent people can be annoyed by them.

They are clearly actors or of the ilk as I insinuated in the opening post and everything being scripted but acting like they are regular Joe's
What is annoying is that they suddenly come up with the solution in a really smarmy way as if they are suddenly really clever - when in fact they had already read the script
