Season 2 Premiere

What did people think of the episode? I enjoyed it, one of the things this show does well is make you really like the family involved in the possession.

I thought it would be a continuation of last season but it looks like it's an entirely new story. I've very disappointed as I realize that since not continued, last season had a really bad ending.

I'm now on Episode 2 and am loving it! They're integrating some of last season into this one and this current story is actually very, very good. I think I'll like this season just as much as last. I'm so glad they renewed this.

I was both simultaneously happy and sad when they got renewed because I knew Casey would no longer be a part of the story and didn't know if my love for Marcus alone would be enough to keep me invested, but I was pleasantly surprised by the premiere. The new setting and dynamic between Marcus and Tomas reminded me of early Supernatural, which is a very good thing where I am concerned. The production value and direction of the show continues to be top notch, and I love John Cho's character and his family of misfits. I am intrigued to see where they go with Caleb and Grace, particularly (less so with Tomas powers, I felt like I've already walked down that road with Sam Winchester). They make for obvious targets but I am expecting a twist.

I'm very glad they renewed this show. It's quality work in a lot of ways: acting, SFX, and plotting.

I like that this year is different despite the loss of the Chicago plotline. It looks like they might get back to Chicago eventually, and I hope they do an update with the Rance family.
