In agreement of being prejudicial against Muslims in their community? Even at the orders of the governor, wouldn't there be one policeman, sergeant, captain, lieutenant, hell, the mayor of the city, thinking that this is a horrendous idea?
shareI live in Michigan - near Dearborn - and know many in law enforcement - both family and friends. This depiction of police is DISGUSTING. But I wouldn't expect less from Hollywood. I nearly kicked the show to the curb with all the generalizations of liberal hate on display. Which ones you ask?
1) Cops are bad
2) Military is bad
3) Republicans are bad

Taylor police weren't as bad this depiction. Westland police were almost as bad.

It is a completely preposterous scenario. Dearborn is 40% Arab-American. Muslims are part of every walk of life in that community, including the police and city council. There is no way the local community would ever obey that order. The governor would have to send in state police or the national guard.
