What will happen to Dr. HUGH CULBER ???

Ever since his body was taken over by the TRILL spirit he's been freaked out about the after effects of that happening to him.

Does anyone else have any ideas where this situation is heading?

Will he end up offering his body as a host for the TRILL (who also lost most of their HOST BODIES during the BURN)???

Will he also end up living on TRILL like the other character GRAY does now??? As you may recall, both Gray and Hugh were also previously dead before (thus also giving them something in common).

And what will happen if HUGH does decide to be a HOST BODY for the TRILL???

Will Paul Stamets reject him the same way as Dr. BEVERLY (from Star Trek: Next Generation) rejected her lover (ODAN) once his HOST BODY dies and he's resurrected again inside of a female HOST BODY (after having also spent time inside of the body of Comander RIKER while waiting for the other HOST BODY to arrive)???

The Enterprise successfully rendezvous in time to bring aboard the new host, a female (Nicole Orth-Pallavicini), much to Dr. Crusher's surprise. She helps with the other Trill to transplant Odan into the new host, and both Riker and Odan fully recover. When Odan attempts to continue their relationship, Dr. Crusher is uncomfortable, knowing both that the Trill appear to have no preferences on gender orientation, and that Odan will continue to live on in any number of hosts' bodies. Odan admits she still loves Dr. Crusher, but understands her confusion and discomfort, and promises to never forget her or their short time together.

Reception:

criticism was levelled at the ending, as Crusher stated that it was humans who have a problem with homosexuality rather than limiting it to be her own problem.

Dr. BEVERLY CRUSHER:

Perhaps it is a human failing, but we are not accustomed to these kinds of changes. I can't keep up. How long will you have this host? What would the next one be? I can't live with that kind of uncertainty. Perhaps, someday, our ability to love won't be so limited.

Would Paul also feel the same way about Dr. HUGH as DR. BEVERLY did about her lover and also reject him if DR. HUGH dies and is resurrected again inside of a female HOST BODY???

Since Beverly previously said that humans weren't able to keep up or deal with such changes as the TRILL endure, has anything changed since she said that? Or do humans still have LIMITS in regards to their preferences whenever it comes to gender orientation ?

And if Dr. HUGH is placed inside of a Female HOST BODY and Paul rejects him, could that also be viewed as a rejection of heterosexuality?

Or what if DR. HUGH ends up inside of the body of GRAY's former lover Adira??? How would Paul handle a situation like that???
