Minor complaint about Ep2-13 (11/April)

Discovery is in the middle of this terrible crisis, counting the minutes before the Control armada reaches them, with no long-range communication, and somehow “Michael” Burnham’s Vulcan parents manage to get there for a tearful reunion before “Michael” goes on her one-way mission. How did they find Discovery? It was bad enough that the idiots in charge of Discovery came up with a telepathic link between “Michael” and Sarek that apparently works across distances of hundreds of light-years, but now we are supposed to believe that the link comes with GPS (Galactic Positioning System) as well?

And how convenient that Sarek was able to find a ship and reach Discovery before Control could!
