Since this movie is basically Ocean's Eleven with girls (plot included,) it was interesting/annoying to notice how close the characters were in both films.

Debby Ocean = Danny Ocean (idea, supervisor)
Lou = Rusty (execution of details, management)
Tammy = Saul (is out of the game and doesn't want to get back in, is convinced to come out of retirement)
Constance = Linus (capable pickpocket who hasn't been in a BIG game yet)
Amita = Frank (inside information on what they're stealing)
Nine Ball = Livingston (tech)
Rose = Reuben (joins because they're mad about being muscled out)
Daphne = bonus, but basically Benedict in 13...

Virgil, Turk, and Basher are all jobs that really could be combined... the Malloys are transportation, distraction, and basically odd jobs, and Basher is explosives... the girls kind of combine these roles.

Reuben appeared and gave them money I think, which is all he did in 11, so I guess Reuben = Reuben.
And then, of course *SPOILER* the super important team member who's not included in the eight, the Amazing Yen.

The REAL Oceans’ 11 starred The Chairman of the Board, Old Blue Eyes, Frank FUCKING Sinatra, and not some refugees from TV shows. It starred The Rat Pack. So if you’re going to compare THIS SHIT to Ocean’s 11, compare it to the REAL Ocean’s 11 and not to this garbage.

I understand that the OP was not even a sperm when Ocean’s 11 debuted. But . . . splutter . . . splutter . . . spiller: SINATRA verses little head-shake ER TV refugee CLOONEY?! 😂😂😂😂😂 There is no
contest. It’s like comparing Le Courdon Bleu with McDonald’s. This entire thread is invalid because it ignores the real source material.
