I don’t share the Buñuel guy’s outrage, but he had a point: there’s an umbilical connection between Mother! and the surrealist master’s 1962 film The Exterminating Angel

I'm looking forward to the movie, but this point doesn't surprise me. Black Swan is seen by many as a very direct ripoff of Perfect Blue, even taking several scenes from it. Comparison videos on Youtube do not reflect well on Black Swan. The nicest comparisons call it an adaptation of Perfect Blue.
