I think the lead is really ugly...

share I'll admit that I haven't read every reply to this post, but I feel it necessary to ask a question.
Is this forum intended for adults, youth, or both?
I'm asking because I'm an adult parent who can say firsthand that any adult that is on here debating the looks/hotness of one of the performers in a show, is not only shallow as hell but lacks the intellect of a ten year old.
If my statement applies to you, you are also doing the next generation a disservice by perpetuating the "pretty people" stereotype. My ACTUAL ten year old daughter brought this post to my attention. She is "confused about why someone would think this dad". I explained to her that everyone is entitled to their opinion. To which she eloquently replied, "I know I probably shouldn'
t be watching this show, but she is an amazing actor. She even writes and directs too dad. She's an amazing artist. I hope I get the chance to do the things she's done. I thought her talent was beautiful enough, but I watched her get interviewed on YouTube and Wow she is soooooo smart and I love her attitude towards bullies like some directors and studios that act like pretty faces are more important than a really good story with kick butt acting. Those people make me so so mad dad."
I had to pause for a moment and apologize for the first answer I gave her. I said that I should have answered "Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but sometimes they forget to keep MEAN to themselves and that's why we have to say/do something like you did by bringing it to me and letting people know this kind of stuff isn't ok."
I might not have the whole conversation verbatim, but she agrees with me that I typed what she was feeling. We both agree that who we are isn't a one-dimensional photo of our face or body.
