I was thinking the same laurieann74,
I can't even begin to imagine what this young lady went through and it is easy to say what you might have done if in that situation when in the outside looking in, but I was on the edge of my seat yelling at the TV every time I thought she had a chance to get away from him. When she did escape my thought was that she'd drive that truck all the way home or to a police station closer to home (since she had it in her mind that the man was friends with the local police). Then to go all those years without saying anything. It seemed to me that she'd report it so she wouldn't live in fear over the next 20 years like she did.
I also notice wondered what the girl at the store was going to say about him (and was ticked off at the old man interrupting her from saying anything). Wow...So unfortunate. I'm glad I did decide to check this out on Netflix though.
