Anyone think Eugene deserved to go to Hell

Why do you think he was a sadistic killer? Who did he kill?

I know he was involved with that girl in a coma, but we did not really get the story of what happened there.

Or are you thinking of the comic book? Remember that just because someone did something or had a certain personality in the comic, it does not mean they are the same character in the TV show.

Also, I am not sure how he could have been sent to hell, since it is my understanding that the preacher can not command a person to do something that they could not normally do on their own (I heard one of the producers say this in a podcast). Like telling Casey to fly in an earlier episode; he tried to fly but just jumped in to the wall.

He tried to kill that girl and put her in a coma.

The comic book version merely tried to kill himself to be like Kurt Cobain.

Preacher's power is inconsistent. He told Eugene to go to Hell and he disappeared.

That is what people may think happened, but do we know that it really happened? We did not see it happen.

We didn't see God leave Heaven. So did that not happen?

I don't even know if God exists in this universe, so who knows?

But I would guess they wouldn't stray that far from the comic book, so I assume yes (although I didn't read the comic, so just going on what I heard about it).

The entire point of the series is tracking down God and making him pay for doing such a bad job creating the universe.

You are relying too much on the comic book to come to your conclusions, but yes, it probably is.
