Great Movie

I enjoyed an evening with a positive tear jerker movie. This movie has so many levels of the life of teens in school today. Peer pressure, Clothing not hip, Parent devorce, Should I have sex, Drinking, Bullying, Clicks, Who am I really. All true life experiences we've all gone through or are going through even as adults.

My only negative about the movie is (in my life) not so many kids smoked, well at least not cigarettes.

I thinks this story is a good one for standing up and being who you are. Yes she was a Christian, but it's about her growing path and how she changed the people she came into contact with. Accepting Christ lead her on that path, she followed an and she planted the seed for others to gather. From its growth.Perfect example of thw book of John or Acts. This is a good move for the life lessons and a great talking point opener for problems your children may be facing.

I agree I liked it. I'm not a Christian but being a good person has nothing to do with organized religion. I thought it was a good story. Maybe not the best acting and directing at all times but it carried itself all the way through at a nice pace....kept you curious about the characters. And yes they mixed in a tragedy. I don't see none of these whine bags over on Patriots day talking about them making money from the people who lost their lives during the Boston Marathon bombing ...watch it. judge for yourself

Good sentiments. I was moved by her story and others. It was about growth in the Faith. You should look up what the Actors had to say, about reading her Diary, speaking with her family. They were greatly moved.
This Film should motivate Christians, who are not telling the Gospel, to do so, with urgency. It should reach, prayfully, those who are Lost.
God bless

I just watched the film, these kids were a decade younger than me, I was touched by Rachel's story. I especially liked how she encouraged the guys to be nicer to the mentally disabled classmate. She was lucky to have a caring stepdad. Wow hard to believe this was nearly 25 years ago. Did her friends actually decorate her car in real life? Did the boy she was talking too when she was killed die as well or did he survive? The irony of her 13 tears drawing is something to think about.
