Ilse's final words to Julia

Been going through McQ's Empire podcast interview & learning a lot of interesting tidbits

In the final scene, as Julia leaves, Ilse whispers something to her.

Turns out, Rebecca Ferguson improvised that bit, and only she and Michelle Monaghan actually know what was said.

Michelle Monaghan also improvised Julia's reaction to learning there were TWO bombs, though that was only during rehearsals (they clearly planned on it during the actual film).

And the funniest bit to me, Sean Harris raging at his failure at the end of both films was largely genuine - he'd only agreed to MI:Rogue Nation on the condition that Solomon Lane die at the end. So when he glares at Ethan through the glass case, that's actually the actor Sean Harris glaring at his executive producer, Tom Cruise, for going back on his word.

Same here - when they defuse the bomb, Sean Harris is still annoyed at his character's survival, but he's more resigned to the fact by this point, and it shows.
