[Spoilers] Lane's fate

Anyone annoyed that Lane is STILL alive?

Personally, I really liked it that they caught him alive, and humiliated him in the process, in the last movie.

I didn't think they needed to repeat the gimmick, but it was nice to see Benji rub it in his face one more time. He was looking forward a big flash, and instead got a plutonium core thudding onto the floor and Dunn, the hapless geek, beating him yet again.
