Underrated, better than its rating

This only has a 5.0 rating on imdb and I think it is much better than that. The film is directed by Karl Mueller and stars Fran Kranz, Adam Goldberg, and Nicky Whelan. It is about Kyle, a white-collar suburban father who is invited to a weekend retreat called Rebirth by an old college buddy. He agrees, thinking it is a typical self help motivational type of event. He soon realizes it is not what he expected and nothing is as it seems. Who can he trust? What is really going on? And he can survive Rebirth? I really enjoyed this movie. It was fast paced, fun, and entertaining. There were twists and turns that keeps the viewer guessing while on the edge of their seat. Kranz and Goldberg were both very good in their roles. I would rate Rebirth an 8/10.

Glad you enjoyed it, I recommended it to you! Here is my review:
A lot of hate going on about this movie. Like what it never progress and goes nowhere and is nonsense. I have to disagree. I saw it like a B quality Fight Club/The Game movie and I enjoyed it, mainly thanks to some solid acting from Fran Kranz. The only downside I agree with is the last 10 minutes Infomercial which does contradict the rest of the film but I decided to interpret it in my own way even though it does not make perfect sense. (I believe the guy was blackmailed in acting like he sponsored the Rebirth program and to bring more victims in.) 7/10

If this had been released around a decade earlier I think it would have built up at least a bit of a cult following on DVD, but by 2016 its fate was to languish in obscurity on Netflix.
