Guys. I love MV. And anyone who knows me knows that. I love every movie he has ever done. Even Layer Cake, which is a movie no one seems to mention when talkimg about MV. Now I just watched Golden Circle and I cant quite decide why I dont like it all that much. But it is average. I still think the movie is better than half of the crap hollywood produces. But what are your thoughts about it?
shareIt is just very mediocre compared to the first one... I thougt SLJ worked better as a villian than Julianne Moore... I also felt it did not work to have Colin Firth return, it kind of took away from his suprising death in the first one... I thougt the American agents worked but were not used enough...
shareI agree with OP. I love Vaughn's movies. I even half loved this one but it dipped too far into stupid too many times. The first one managed to maintain a serious tome through so many absurd scenarios and was a better 007 movie than we'd seen in years. This one was a comedy of low grade punctuated by assorted cool ideas and good action.
