Royal Canadian Federal Police

As someone who lives in Canada, I've never once heard of it referred to in this way. It's always been the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police). It's not that the term is incorrect, I'm just wondering if there are Canadians on this board who do call it that?

That being said, it's always really nice to see my province's beauty represented as our own and not just as a shooting location.

My guess is that the RCMP didn't give its consent to its name being used for the series. Or, perhaps the show runners felt the use of the term 'Mounted' would confuse foreigners who watch the show since they wouldn't understand the context.

Yes, nice to them using Canadian locations as such.
