Why the PG rating

I was curious about the PG rating so I looked it up on IMDB.

Very interesting yet pathetic what counts as PG for today's snowflake kids:

Frightening & Intense Scenes
There is a very brief scene near the beginning of the film depicting a battle during WWII. There are several explosions, while a man calls desperately for reinforcements. The scene lasts about thirty seconds.

Christopher and Pooh gets lost in the woods and creatures chase them. Scene can be scary for young children.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

When Madeline sees her father, (Christopher Robin), at a cottage he couldn't make over the weekend do to work, she gets very angry and knocks papers over on her desk. She then jumps on her bed. This scene may be very sad and intense for younger viewers, maybe even older viewers.
